This was one of my first articles that I had published in Talking Leaves, a cooperative grocery newsletter in Greensboro, NC, from December, 2009. I hope it gives a sense of my style, my voice, and awareness of audience, all while keeping my goal on the marketing aspect. I hope it is clear the way I integrate the personal and familiar with the goal of relating the audience to the product(s) in a way that uses emotion and possibly nostalgia. Also, notice that I managed to connote the holiday spirit while avoiding politically incorrect names and labels (ie "Christmas").
