Bluetooth Enabled Anti-Theft System Using Android Based Handheld Device

The Bluetooth-enabled cost-effective solution has been made to protect the vehicles. This paper attempts to utilize two physically disjoint units in conjunction with each other, an intention to provide a fool-proof mechanism against vehicle theft. A prototype was made using Arduino, fingerprint sensor and Bluetooth. Android smart phones are being used to design for the user interface that allows access of the vehicle to an intended person only.
