I am holding a Bachelor degree in Applied Physics & Nanotechnology, with a big part of the curriculum focused on material design and it’s analysis, namely PVD (physical vapor deposition) and CVD (chemical vapor deposition) methods for thin layer deposition, both inorganic and organic materials, as well as material characterization with various analytical methods such as X-ray Powder Diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy, X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy, Secondary Ion Mass Spectroscopy, Infrared and Raman Spectroscopy etc.
After completing the Bachelor degree, I then joined the TU Freiberg group of structural analysis for a 2 months internship and worked with advanced structural analysis tools, and later moved to UiO in Oslo to partake on the 12 months research stay with the Department of Chemistry where I worked on a project focused on synthesis and analysis of ceramic materials for spintronics. Finally I joined the Master degree studies in MENA program, and deepened my knowledge in the field of structural inorganic chemistry, as well as functional materials for energy applications. The main focus of my research here was on magnetic materials for magnetocaloric refrigeration, working jointly with NAFUMA group at UiO and IFE in Kjeller. In my academic years I worked with various analytical softwares for data processing and plotting such as GSAS (General Structure Analysis Software), MAUD (Material Analysis Using Diffraction), Matlab, Microsoft Office as well as Origin and Visual Studio. At the most recent period I completed the Data Science Professional Certificate with IBM focusing mainly on implementation and use of tools such as Python, SQL, IBM Cloud Services, machine learning techniques and most popular algorithms.
