I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate at the Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and have worked now for two years in the broad subject area of Ancient Indian History. My work has revolved around storytelling, gender and sexuality, death and mourning, in the context of Ancient India. My interests however spread beyond this subject area alone; last month, I presented a paper at the JNU Forum of Mutual Learning conference on the Harry Potter books. My paper was concerned with Grief, Loss and Death in these popular books. These papers can be found on Academia.
In addition to this, I have also been involved deeply with learning, and more recently, sharing Marshall Rosenberg's process of Non Violent Communication (check CNVC official website). This has led me to conduct group sessions on learning and process work.
My main love and calling is writing, and I enjoy creative and meaningful work. My creative work can be found on the Elephant Journal and Allpoetry online.
