I am a Freelance French <> English Translator & Consultant Linguist based in Kisumu, Kenya. From 1991 - 2015, I carried out the translation jobs on a part-time basis as I held another full-time job at the same time. I am now engaged in translation and proofreading / editing on a full-time basis since 2016. I have a Bachelor's degree in French and Sociology from the University of Nairobi, Kenya (1984). I also hold an advanced certificate in French (Language and Linguistics) from Université Paul Valéry in Montpellier, France. I am a registered translator with the African Virtual University and the African Development Bank. I translate on a voluntary (unpaid) basis for the following Christian organization: The Gospel Translations (USA) - from November 2017. I have experience in book translation using the Tektime / Traduzione Libri platform, where I have 5-star ratings for each of the jobs carried out so far (9 Christian books and 2 fiction books from English to French. I have also translated 1 book on Life Sciences from French to English). I also carry out translations from Swahili to English.
