Floormaster is a company producing natural, eco-friendly, and non-toxic cleaning detergents for various surfaces. The focus of this brand is a cleaning product that doesn't release toxic chemicals that can be dangerous for pets and childrens in the house. They wanted the logo to portray this pure, natural feel. I started with a ready font which I modified by rounding the sharp corners and curved the letter shapes to remind of a tender plant. For instance, the arm of the letter “r” and the counter of the letter “a” were altered with an iconic “leaf”. The cross stroke of the letter “t” was modified to look like a young sprout emerging from a branch of a tree. The resulting wordmark expressed a fluid, natural, and leafy cleaning detergent.
