Promoting new businesses' is a very important factor to your business being successful or not . It's important to identify your market and" tap" into it . After I launched www.youdresstoimpress.com I recognised my product was aimed at the younger market where vintage was making a massive come back and everyone wanted it . I chose to make my business visible and accessible to the youngsters by promoting it through popular social networking sites and sites where my items would be affordable to students and youngsters on limited incomes as well as those who were able to pay that little bit more for a designer brand somewhere where everyone would have the chance to own one of these sought after items. I chose Facebook and Twitter to get promoted and eBay to sell my items as well as my own website linked to all these pages, my items could be sold from all these pages. All businesses' work differently and the key is identifying what works for your own business
