'Quality work, ahead of schedule and on budget' I am professional, prompt and will work as hard on your project as I would on my own. I don't do anything by halves. A perfectionist with excellent time management and a suite of skills. Most recently, I completed editing a young adult fantasy novel and proof-read a press release from the medical industry. Prior to that I re-wrote 15 articles on pet care which included relevant research. I transcribed, researched and ghostwrote a happiness ebook as well. Just to mix things up, I also created multiple excel tables from a Standard (report) in quality control auditing. Samples of these can be provided. I'm doing post-graduate study in criminology & criminal justice, and writing; have a Bachelors degree (majors in Anthropology and Indigenous Studies, minor in International Relations). I've run online businesses so can utilise my shopfront design skills, upkeep, admin, inventory and social media marketing.

Experience

Restorative Justice Conferencing Convenor

Jan 2016 - Jun 2018 (2 years)

This role varies but is heavily laden in verbal and written communication and document creation. From legally binding letters to maintaining stakeholder networks in the community, it is all covered in this role and every type of communication method is used. My role works alongside co-workers, professionals, offenders, victims and their key support people and stakeholders. I've covered the role and a self-assessment in my CV (attached in portfolio documents).

Project Officer (Contract)

Feb 2015 - Jun 2015 (4 months)

My responsibility was to establish systems to assist with streamlining processes for the ‘big picture’ of the organisation. Using SharePoint and Microsoft 365, I created multiple digital ‘lists’ to enable myself and future project workers to process small grants expression of interest submissions, assess the submissions, enter panel assessment results and prepare content for agreements.

Resources Coordinator (contract)

Jul 2014 - Aug 2014 (1 month)

Tasks and responsibilities included creating artist booklets, sourcing sponsorship, gaining quotes for catering and green room food, preparing delivery schedules, participated in team meetings, provided regular verbal and written reports to the manager and team, working autonomously and within a team, keeping resource purchases within a budget, supporting team members as needed and maintaining positive working relationships with the festival team and key stakeholders

Administration and Systems (Contract)

Jan 2014 - Jun 2014 (5 months)

Built rapport with clients and offered a high standard of courtesy to visitors. First point of contact for clients at risk. Maintained strict client confidentiality. Developed, implemented and monitored systems and processes. Managed fleet vehicles, reporting and systems. Maintained petty cash systems and reconciliations. Processed and coded accounts payable by the due date. Assisted grant writing team. Set up and packed down weekly baby immunisation clinic and support nurses as required.

Volunteer

Jun 2011

When I can, I volunteer at Lifeline. I help sort and package donations for Lifeline shops, assist with annual stock-take and anything else needed. My goal in volunteering is to increase efficiency and reduce employee’s workloads (‘big picture’). By supporting staff, more stock makes it to the shops - more profits benefit the community. I see the positive impact Lifeline's counselling, suicide prevention and food hampers (to name a few) have on families and children I work with at DJAG.
