Delina Yemane D.

I am a public health practitioner and researcher by day and a freelance columnist, editor and translator in my spare time. I speak 4 languages: Tigrinya, English, Italian and French , with native level fluency in the first three. I have so far published 20 articles in English, both in national and international literary journals, some of which have been translated into other languages. I worked on various translation jobs, including a Market Study on Circular Economy, where I translated a 110-page document from English to Italian for a consultancy firm in my country. I also worked with Alliance Française Asmara as a freelance English-Tigrinya interpreter in two conferences. I also have experience in editing English subtitles for a movie series and I'm currently editing and proofreading an English photography coffee table book for a local Eritrean photographer. Given my background in health sciences (a Bachelor Degree in Public Health), I am familiar with medical terminologies and can therefore transcribe/proofread medical content with relative ease.
