Write a PowerShell script that determines when a machine finishes its CBS boot rounds in order to deal with Windows features & roles that trigger multiple reboots. The script is intended to be used on a server provisioning process to install Windows features, wait until their installation finishes and then continue with additional configuration tasks after the reboot sequence. The CBS, Component Based Servicing, is responsible for the installation of Windows features & roles in Windows 2012 & 2016. Simply polling the CBS registry for RebootPending does not cut it, as it fails to detect the second reboot after the first one. This project is intended for someone who already has a solution / knows exactly what and how to code it. Please do not bid if you only think you have a solution. Hi please find the required details you are interested 1. How will you solve the task? i will write script to install windows feature using install-windowsfeature cmdlet and i will write do while to verify whether installation completed or not , if not it will wait till the completion. if reboot required i will check using registry key option and do the activity. After that i will continue with additional task and chcek reboot required options like that. 2. What APIs / tools / registry keys / scheduled tasks will you be using? will use reg key(SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing\) and window event system log id logname='System' id=1074 to validate reboot required and reboot time details. 3.
