I have a windows 7 laptop that was given to me from the company I work for. It was connected to a domain server where I have a login and password to access it; however, recently they upgraded me to a new windows 10 laptop and gave me the old laptop and never asked for it. I know that they disconnected that laptop from the company network and now I'm trying to login to the local user account to start using the computer normally. The problem is that when I startup the system will not give me any option/local user to login to, It only asks for user name and password that I used to have when the laptop was connected to the company's network which is not valid anymore. tried multiple solutions nothing worked for me. If there is any advice it will be appreciated. I'm ready to pay for an advice if solves the problem.
Things to mention:
- Bios is locked with a password no changes can be made.
-cannot access safe mode which should be F8.
- I tried to use password recovery tool since that I have the option create a local user through it but it didn't work. The error shown was "
System directory not found"
- Tried to enter ./admin to access administrator account or at least know the existing user name with no luck. everything returns an invalid user name and password.
Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.
