We are an IT company and need a solution for Shoppify. At first solution is needed fort he things mentioned below, this is the first part and later we will be adding more (xml/csv files and new functionalitties, etc.), so basically changing whatever needed and what will show up when we will be already into production/b2b/b2c up and runnning) that needs to be changed, so this is the first and major part of the solution we need, but it will have to be upgraded, new functionalitties added, xmls/csv's, so we are looking for a solution provider, that we will continue to work with also afterwards. To explain about the company and a solution we are looking for: We have are an IT company based in Slovenia, Europe. We need to import at the begining about 20-30 xml's/csv's , later we will be adding more of them. About 10xml's are from our country, in Slovenian language, others are in German or in English language. This need to be translated regardless when, but so, that they will be seen in our webshop in Slovenian language, so basically we need a translator with it. If possible, it would be nice to have them also available in other languages, but this is not a must at the beggining, so we would like to have info in advance if it needs to cost more if we add them at the begining as well. Since we have xml files that we get from our Slovenian distributors, their translations are better than probably will be the ones made by a translator. So basicaly this means that it would be better for us to use translations from Slovenian xml's/csv file if there is the same product in foreign xml's/CSV's as well, so take the description out of it and get it to the product that is in foreign language, only leave tech details to be translated by a translator, since they are mainly always different. For instance, in another words let me try to explain on a direct product: If we have a HP Z240 workstation in Slovenian XML/CSV, that the desciption should be taken from it and added/shown also on foreign xml, but technical details should be translated from it by a translator, since words are normaly translated ok and sentences not, since those can be good translated at this time only by a human. So in this case I can tell you which default descriptions you should take from Slovenian xml's for any group or products (like hp from this and this distributor/xml, lenovo from this distributor/xml, microsoft from …etc.). All others like price, stock, pictures…should be taken from the distributor/xml that you are importing, only the translation should be done as written. As well, for all the products that will be shown to the clients from the foreign xml/csv, there should be added above every product a line with a sentence(sentence should be always written in Slovenian language for a Slovenian choosen webpage, also should be in other languages for pages displayed in other languages): OPOZORILO: Ta stran je prevedena z avtomatičnim prevajalnikom, saj internet trgovina ponuja večje število artiklov, ki so dobavljivi le v tujini ali so iz tam cenejši, katerih cene in široko ponudbo pa smo želeli ponuditi tudi vam, zato vas naprošamo za razumevanje v primeru slovničnih napak. Produkti iz tujine nimajo lokaliziranih tipkovnic kot tudi ne programske opreme ali morebitne druge opreme/funkcionalnosti, zato bomo le tem dodali nalepke za Slovensko lokalizacijo, v primeru želja pa lahko zanje omogočimo tudi gravuro tipkovnice in druge potrebne spremembe, v kolikor so te mogoče. If there is the same product offered by 2 or more distributors, than the lowest price should be taken into consideration and it should be shown only 1 product with same specs, not 2 or more, but always you should take the products with stock! If product doesn't have stock that it whould be showed the product that had stock but with the lowest price of all the products that wre on stock. We should also know from which one was it taken so we will know where to order it. They should be comparing products (so they would recognize that they are the same) based on EAN + P/N + article name (but you have to be cautious, since there might be many products with the same product name like HP Z240 workstation mentioned, but there can be many models of it with different specs, so mainly we should watch out for EAN and P/N, because they already include specs and so the same part number means the same product, so it should be listed only once). Also in some cases there can be distributors/xml's that are adding a letter to the P/N, like our distributor Diss does and adds Y to the P/N's of the products. This should be programmed as well the way that same products won't be seen on the webpage twice but only 1 product per P/N (just to clarify, P/N=part number, normally every computer with its own specs has its own P/N). If there isn't a product anymore in an XML/CSV, than it is probably EOL (end of lifetime). In this case product should stay still on the webpage for 1 year, but it should be written at it a sentence: OPOZORILO: Ta produkt je EOL oz. trenutno ni dobavljiv, zato vas naprošamo da preverite realno dobavo oz. ali je produkt še dobavljiv preko e-pošte prodaja@[login to view URL] . All tags, that are exported from xml/CSV should be exported and updated daily into xls file for controll. All products that will be improted from XML/CSV/etc's should be automatically added to the collections (which are created based on categories from xml), everything should be ddone on your side, but we are surely here to help! Each main category from xml/csv/etc should be given a separate collection in Shoppify. For instance: product A has cattegories: laptops, ultrabooks, hp, consumer so it should be added in to collection: Laptops , but all the tags provided(if any) should stay, if there are no tags than you should look by EAN on other xml's in which cattegory they should go to). Tags should be also made and added to each product from : brandname name (hp, lenovo, ibm…), cattegory (workstation, laptop, tv tuner,..), + any other spec that could benefit. Main thing to watch out is to be presicive for every product to fit into the right collection in Shopify! We are already importing products we distribute to Shoppify (TRENDnet, Avermedia, etc.). They are automatically improted into Shopify at the moment. Here you should also be cautious and set up a solution so that it won't duplicate (based on a name, P/N or/and EAN). Within the future this will change, since we will be changing our accounting/ERP program. Products that don't have pcitres should have a default picture or written text: Slika za produkt trenutno ni na voljo! For the products from foreign xml/CSV/etc's there should be added text: Dobavni rok: Na zalogi pri dobavitelju. Za točen dobavni rok pošljite povpraševanje na e-pošto prodaja@[login to view URL] For the products from foreign xml/CSV/etc's that has NO STOCK there should be added text: Dobavni rok: Artikel trenutno ni na zalogi pri dobavitelju. Za predvideni dobavni rok nam pošljite povpraševanje na e-pošto prodaja@ec.si. Import all the/as many details as you can from each xml/CSV/etc. Since we are not programmers and surely there is a big possibility we have forgoten something please add anything needed, since we are basically looking for a solution and a partner, whith whom we will work i the future as well and as time comes also might be cooperatiing on any projects that include programming. This is our plan fort he future as soon normal sales will be up and running. MAILINGS: We are looking for a solution for mailings, in which we could make mailings by not having to make them by ourselves like Mailchimp does, but something like Soundcloud or similar, so basically we could just choose the products from Shoppify's store, add/delete any specs/data needed and sedn it to the mailing list. It needs to be usable as simple as possible to make mailings as fast as possible and as mentioned from the existing database that lies in Shoppify. There is a wish to have templates made for any mailings, for instance for end-users mailings where things would be written laically, so no tech details in depth, but on a dealer side we would mainly focus on 4-6 lines of tech details for the products we wish to promote to dealers. Also there should be availability to change prices and possibly also other features, like bundle's ori f you buy this products you can buy this one with a great saving etc. Existing site, that we would like to update is [login to view URL], which is a preparation for a start.
