I am very well versed in running simulations for financial market models (having worked as a quant for a hedge fund) though I am surprised that you are looking to do Monte Carlo simulations in Excel. MC simulations are extremely processor intensive and using Excel is likely to cause performance issues. While I am a qualified accountant, I am not familiar with GAAP requirement on financial modelling. If you have specific format that meets the GAAP requirement, I am more than happy to produce output in such a format. Looking forward to hearing from you.
