I am restructuring the admin/personal assistant set up at my small business and want to offload whatever I can to a virtual assistant. How much/little this person takes on will come down to their ability and willingness. For me the most important of the tasks will be the daily follow-up on automatic confirmation SMS sent to our clients in Australia. They are asked to respond to confirm and I need a daily check that each of them have done so, at the same time each morning (GMT +8 9.30am). For any that have not responded (1 or 2 a day maximum) a follow up needs to occur. If you are overseas there are options we have to make automated phone calls using our system if you don't have the capacity to do it on your end. However someone confident to make outbound calls and to communicate in English will be necessary. The majority of the Personal assistant tasks of which A Virtual Assistant would be useful for me involve inbound and outbound calls, however if you have online marketing know how tasks such as email marketing, responding to social media enquiries (we have someone handling promotion), handling rostering and scheduling of my staff etc. Perhaps you can make suggestions of things you might be able to help with.
