Ubuntu expert for background process

Hello.

npm start

I would like to run this process in background.

pm2 start npm --name "server" -- start

I used pm2 for this and it is working. But it causes problem.

because my app will not work if I run it with pm2.

So I need another solution to run it in background process.

Please bid who is an expert.
