Regular Transcription Work

Hello! I'm looking for a transcriptionist for regular transcription work. I do not want or need verbatim transcription. The ums, uhs, and filler words should be taken out and the transcript easily readable. The audios range from very clear to moderately unclear but not extremely difficult. They're either one-on-one interviews or several speakers who do not talk over each other because the meetings are moderated and they say their names before speaking (most of the time). If they don't, you just mark it as unidentified speaker. The topics range but we would start you off with Internet governance. How it works is you tell me how many minutes you want to transcribe each day and we give you that many minutes the day before. Typically, we would need it by 2pm EST and you would receive the audio by 5pm the night before. Some projects you would definitely have more time. Requirements: 1. Microsoft Word. Please do not use a word processor other than Microsoft Word. It's been our experience in the past that we can tell when it's converted, and when it does, it throws off the margins, spacing, etc., and it takes too long to fix. 2. Noise-cancelling headphones. It's extremely hard to be accurate without a good pair of headphones. 3. NDA. You will be required to sign a non-disclosure, non-compete. All the information contained in the audio is confidential and privileged and cannot be shared or spoken about. You'll also be required to sign saying you agree not to contact anyone within the audios or the clients regarding any of the information or transcription work. 4. You also agree you will be doing this work yourself and not sub-contracting it out. We would like to start off with a small 20-minute job. If the quality and accuracy is high, then we will continue.
