A mechanical prototype of an actuator needs to be designed which includes a motor for driving the lower bar of an awning. Details for the project have been added. I've already come up with two designs and 3D models for only one is required. I've marked in red parts of my design that I need in 3D models. The worm drive is unnecessary. It should be really simple given the actual design is not complicated. This is the second progress report, the first one being the hand drawn designs. The final report is due next month and that has to be a bit more detailed, but that can be discussed once this is complete. I've also added a couple of sample reports for other projects to help understand what needs to be done. I can send some SolidWorks parts, such as motor, pulley and rod, if required. The background has to be white and there should be no shadows. The project is required by Sunday, March 15, 2015.

Hi! So this needs to be a solid works project, or are you exporting to a generic 3d format. I use max, and am most comfortable in that environment but i can use solidworks, mudbox, and maya as well from autodesk. I looked at the drawing, the only red I see appears to be an awning, a mechanized one from the looks of it. Exactly what part needs to be modeled?
