What we are looking for:
We're on the look-out for a highly motivated and self-driven Media Sales with experience in the creative industries to join our dynamic commercial/sales team, selling content, digital, press and event solutions to media, creative & PR agencies across the media industry. This role will entail assuming Media Sales responsibility for key agencies and client relationships in the UK and/or abroad.
What you'll be doing:
The role will require a dedicated focus on selling our range of digital & print advertising solutions. You will manage existing and new sales relationships, to drive new business and increase media revenues and profits at every opportunity, through provided data base and individual projects.
The primary focus of the role will be on new business development and actively generating new leads/sales, making significant contribution to ambitious company targets. A good understanding of the creative/youth/fashion sector and related industries is a definite benefit.
You will be joining a fast paced and innovative company working from home, and will nevertheless be willing to work as a team. It’s an exciting opportunity to develop and test your sales/commercial skills in one of the most profitable industries and brand sectors. You will have individual responsibility for new business and are expected to self-manage; however, you will be part of a growing team and support is available from directors.
An excellent commission of 50% on closed sales along with performance related bonuses, is offered to the hungry/eager applicant. The creative/youth/fashion sector is one of the most dynamic and lucrative industries, and the successful candidate can expect to reap rewards of the business success both in the short and long term, so therefore needs to be committed to taking on a genuine opportunity.
Ideal candidate will possess:
-Eager, creative and resourceful personality and must enjoy working in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
-Experienced business judgement: Must be positive, persistent and professional
-Flexibility and willingness to proactively add ideas and innovation to the ROOMS multimedia platform.
-Organizational agility and strong attention to detail.
-Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and confidence in presenting ideas with impact.
-Ability to work on your own, as well as to report promptly and accurately to the rest of the team and directors.
-Self-motivation and energy taking ownership of client projects.
Responsibilities:
-Identify opportunities, sell to, maintain and develop client direct relationships in key youth and creative sectors, whilst developing media briefs and new business.
-Delivering significant digital and print media-focused sales results based on UK and/or foreign targets.
-Work alongside directors to create tailored ideas and structured media plans that answer client issues and needs.
-Taking personal responsibility for all pitches and sales opportunities for your clients, and ensure your clients are satisfied after each project.
