What I need is an overview of three phase power supply and how it works with three phase appliances. This information will be used to form part of a course I run.
Topics would include (but not be limited to):
• What is three phase power supply
• How it varies from single phase power supply
• Why it is used ie as a power supply and for some types of appliances
• Advantages and disadvantages of three phase power supply and/or appliances
• How three phase appliances work ie a motor etc
• Correct wiring format including typical colour coding
• Differences between “4 pin” and “5 pin” wiring and why they would be used.
To assist reader comprehension, include drawings, diagrams and formulas to reinforce content and learning.
A person with a basic understanding of electrical theory (what is voltage, current, resistance, ohms law etc) and no formal electrical training or qualification.
A person with a some entry level electrical training or qualification
For Australian conditions and regulations ie 415V 50 Hz supply
Word Count: Approx 5,000 - 7,000 words (approx guide only)
This project would ideally suit a person with technical writing and/or course writing experience. Please include some details of this in your proposal.
