Hi!
Currently this NAS got infected by ransomware, but since the customer didnt have any backup we will like to someone remove ALL the vegclass crypted files, and run an scanner for be sure that any virus was kept on the NAS, also to remove the erased content to free space in disk and to be ready for connect again in the network
I think it will be better to look up for a new firmware for your NAS device, or if there is no new firmware - just reinstall the latest one to be sure the virus is gone.
And of course erase all the disks, it`s not a big deal.
I understand that your client has become infected with vegclass. It seems possible at this point to be able to decrypt the files using Panda software decrypt tool. I would recommended that the course of action be to first scan the NAS for any remaining infection and then use the decryption tool to recover possible files.
