We have designed a stainless steel asset management tracker that is to be fitted on hose pipes ranging from 1-inch diameter to 16-inch diameter and used in various industries. The process of fitment is done through a metal band (like a watch strap, for visualization purposes)
The design has been done on Solidworks, please see the images attached for reference.
We would like to verify the the load on the ends of the buckles after tensioning of the band around the pipe, as we need to make sure the buckle ends do not break. Tensioning will be done up to 1100 N/mm^2
We would also like the engineering calculations that were used to derive this load to be shared with us.
We are open to different software being used to analyze this other than Solidworks.
