Edit Flask API to post data to two database tables using Marshmallow and Flask-SQL Alchemy

I have a very small project I need completed ASAP. I have two tables with a many to many relationship between them.
I have an API route that updates both tables. Each table sits in it's own model. I need the route to insert data into one table, then take the primary key of that table and insert it into the other table as an fk constraint.
The API route is completed and so is the model. It already works for inserting data into one table, but no the other.
