PEEKaMEET, a business networking app making it easy to create business connections needs a social media guru to implement sustainable, strategic social media plans for the app to attract new users and keep them engaged in the app. We are seeking an outgoing, detail-oriented Social Media Marketing Specialist. PEEKaMEET Social Media Marketing Specialists are responsible for curating, writing, delivering, and publishing content, interacting with online communities, and engaging with bloggers and like-minded leaders in the space. The ideal candidate for this position is a friendly communicator with strong attention to detail, who works well under limited supervision, and is an excellent writer. The right candidate will help us build communities through consistent engagement and content development and can describe the “benefits of business networking" via multiple social media sites. Responsibilities: • Participate in regular strategy meetings • Manage social media platforms • Curate content for assigned social media content calendars • Write and post daily and real-time content for assigned social media platforms • Engage in two-way, online conversation with target audiences for assigned accounts • Support social advertising campaigns • Draft blog content • Create flyers for brand ambassador recruitment, events, email campaigns • Write content for email campaigns • Fluent in English Requirements: • Familiarity with social media platforms, such as Facebook, Google+, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, Yelp, YouTube, and others • Capable of researching and posting compelling content that is relevant to the business across multiple social channels • Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration Ideal candidates will: • Have experience or can be easily trained in using social media tools for business, including developing and managing social media strategy and communities • Be able to write intriguing posts and blogs • Enjoy creating and consuming new content types
