We are preparing a proposal to submit against a tender. We are looking for certain experts to join our team for proposal development and for this project if we are awarded the contract.
About the tender. It is a study ICT environment and Identify competitive schemes and roadmap to develop Oman ICT Sector.
The consultancy services are aimed to do a market review and analysis of the ICT sector for the Sultanate of Oman that can be utilized to develop the ICT sector as an industry to contribute to national goals like increasing GDP (Gross domestic Product), economic diversification and job creation.
In addition, the consultancy services are aimed to review and analyses the ICT workforce status in Oman and Identify the gap between the current demand and supply of IT workforce and also recommend programs to bridge the gap. It shall highlight the IT Job Market needs and IT Education outcomes in Oman.
Lastly, it includes a benchmarking and Recommendations based on the Comparison with the international best practices. This phase is about setting the goals and objectives for ICT development aligning with the national development vision for the next ten years for Oman and establishing a roadmap with action plan.
The project is expected to last 7 months.
Specialists who have prior experience in this line of work are invited to submit their CV’s to be considered as a potential consultant in our team on this project. Those who apply should have hands on experience in consulting on such projects as this. Having worked in Oman or the GCC is a plus, so please highlight any work done in the region. I ask in your reply to list out the above two things.
This project is at the proposal development stage. If you would like to be a part of the team, and you are selected, then I will send to you the detailed scope of work.
After that, you will be asked to provide four things to contribute towards the proposal:
• Your Bio and CV
• Your approach and methodology to deliver against the items in the Scope of Work
• Your timeline to deliver the deliverables in terms of a calendar and the estimated number of hours you will actually spend on the project
• Your cost you will charge me to perform this work (can be fixed, hourly, or daily)
We must submit the proposal on 7th February.
Also, just be aware (and that you can agree to this point) this project will require you to come to Oman for part or all of the project. So let me know if this causes any problems or concerns.
