Design of the full jet drive of for a 4m long jet boat
The design of the full jet drive is needed for a 4m long jet boat. The space for the full jet drive is very limited. As input of the design, you have the engine specifications (power, rotation, dimensions, etc.), the available space from the engine shaft to the transom part of the boat as well as the dimensions of the engine and drive cover (where the full jet drive needs to fit in), all other necessary information regarding the geometry of the boat. Three engines (with different power) will be used in this design, so the best impeller for each design will be necessary (one impeller for each engine).
With the data provided, is expected that the selected person choose the most suitable impeller, the diameter, as well as the blade section, the pitch angle, and all the other characteristics of the impeller, the 3D drawing ready for production, the 3D drawing of the intake duct, intake grill and the nozzle, the shaft and bearings. The calculations of the efficiency is also required for range/fuel consumption and speed estimation. We need a full jet drive, that fits the size of our boat, and are efficient for the selected engines.
