modify an existing react.js web app

I have a working react.js app, that I would like to modify. Current app allows users to benchmark, bookmark and trade financial stocks with virtual money.
Modifications: shouldnt take more than 20 hrs for experienced dev.
I would like to fork this app in a new one that only focuses on benchmarking. 90% of the features are already there! App is fully functional, with a simple relational firebase backend. I have the mock up ready for the new app design.
Current app uses yahoo finance API and Apex for charting ; firebase for user authentication , argam for financial news
