trigger .sh script thru .r file

Need to trigger the .sh script from .r file and get the arguments without using echo, stdio in .sh file, i should get printed thru .r Here is my sample scripts, both scripts are under same home folder. In [login to view URL], #!/bin/bash NAME="Wing" Rscript /home/abc.r $NAME --save In abc.r args <- commandArgs() print(args) But in output I unable to get the values of arguments. Here is output usr/local/lib/R/bin/exec/R--sense--no-readline
