We are developing a simple app based on python. It uses Django/React. You may remove React as I don't think it's really needed.
It's almost done. The UI/ chart plotting etc are done. You can see the existing UIs in the dropbox link provided below.
The remaining work is about process the stock data stored in DB, and sync the data stored in db twice everyday with the remote server using cron jobs.
Please refer to the dropbox link for a description of the pseudo codes! during the implementation, make sure to follow this API guideline.
The job should be done remotely using Teamviewer or anydesk.
A. Stock performance viewer (this is completed):
1. Enter a stock symbol, and display its price/volume history. And also draw the line of average prices.
2. User can zoom in/out and click to move page to a particular date range
B. Screen stocks of all in NASDAQ and NYSE (this is half done. you need to help us complete it)
a. Stock stock data (both weekly and daily) in our db in the past two years (done)
c. Method 1: Rank stocks based on their daily volume increase/average daily volume %
f. Method 2: Rank stocks based on their daily price increase %
c. Method 3: Rank stocks based on their weekly volume increase/average daily volume %
f. Method 4: Rank stocks based on their weekly price increase %
C. Portfolio price history
a. Add/Remove a portfolio (done)
b. In each portfolio, add/remove stocks (done)
c. For each portfolio, display the price trend history on the right side (done)
d. In the backend, the cron jobs, monitor the portfolio price history once in every one hour. If the price is changed by a certain percentage compared to the highest, send an email alert or sell the stocks in the portfolio using TD Ameritrade API.
D. Trading Bot:
a. Refer to
enable the trading based on TD Ameritrade api.
