Python code to open an MS Excel file (xslx), transpose the data, and write it to a CSV.

I have a formatted excel document that i want to analyze in Python, but I need the formatting to be different. The worksheet has extra blank cells around the top and left sides, and the data are arranged as columns instead of rows. So for this project, I just need Python code that will: 1) Open an excel document (XSLX) 2) Read the data table from the worksheet 3) Transpose the data (make the rows into columns and columns into rows) 4) Write out the data table to a CSV file.
