We need to design a "tracing" function that takes an image like the ones attached ([login to view URL] & [login to view URL]) and turns it into one continuous line (examples: [login to view URL] & [login to view URL]). It should run through the lines and traces an outline without stopping to form 1 line only. As an example, please see COMPLETE [login to view URL] POSSIBLE METHOD: - Get a point cloud between edges and then do a nearest neighbour search to find the closest end of a line - Then perform a gradient match between the two lines to get a curve - investigate how Adobe Illustrator “Live Trace” may be able to automate as well You can use this method or any method of your choice. We have had a web dev team attempt to work on this but we really need someone more experienced in this area to achieve this. You can use any language you want! URGENT PROJECT
