Automasation of e-commerce scraper build in Python

We are FLinking, an e-commerce business working together with wholesalers through the Netherlands. Currently we have an e-commerce related scraper and other utilities made with python to make sure we can update stock and new items to the platform we sell through. There is no work needed on this side as it’s working fine. However at this moment we have to run the scripts manually what brings us to the job description.
We are looking for a programmer who knows about Python and how to automate the scraper so it can run for multiple times a day or every so often without having to manually run it, We think we do need an API that allows us to use the scrapers remotely. It is worth noting that the scrapers do long-running operations, so the typical Request-Response pattern won’t cut it. We would like to hear your suggestions when you bid on this job.
Knowledge of shopify development is highly appreciated but not needed. In the future we have more jobs relating shopify development and we will be glad to work more often with you when the job is correctly done.
