Good evening, On top of being a native Spanish speaker, I am also a certified Spanish Teacher and I have worked as a lecturer for several years in France, where I have also corrected many essays. My academic background as a linguist is very extensive. I studied Arts at University College Cork (Ireland) and graduated in English Literature by the University of Deusto (Spain). Then, I moved to France where I received my Bachelor's Degree in French Linguistics as well as my Master's Degree in Iberian and Latin American Studies. So, if the book has been translated from English or French, I'll easily identify the most common mistakes. And if it's been directly written in Spanish, not will I correct mistakes but also improve the register, syntax and vocabulary. In fact, as a perfectionist and an avid reader, I master my native language in terms of register, vocabulary, grammar, syntax and spelling error-free. Moreover, as an experienced teacher, mistakes just pop out from the page when I'm correcting/proofreading, especially if it's written in my mother tongue.
