As part of a project, we need the following to be developed in the form of a component.
Requirement:
1. A machine will be connected to a laptop in our lab running windows OS, which will have the software to operate the machine.
2. Users should be able to connect to the laptop using their own computer (Remote Desktop Connection) and operate the software to work on tasks using the machine.
3. Since this is a paid service, users should be able to connect only on a specific time interval (e.g. 20th December, 2017 - between 10:00 and 11:00 hrs).
4. The connection (RDC) will be automatically disconnected after the pre-specified duration (e.g 1 hour from 10.00 )
5. The date and time for the duration should be picked preferably from database. Flat file data is also ok, but database is preferable.
We will be developing the scheduling calendar and other features of the software. The component (we can call it as RDC component) should be integrated with our software.
Note that we would prefer Open Source (PHP, MySQL), but other options are also ok with us if the solution provided is acceptable.
