I am looking to have a map shown within an existing website page which populates with markers either from a Google fusion table, or a GeoJSON file hosted elsewhere on the server.
The main issue is this needs to be entirely contained within an html block on the page (we use a fairly restrictive version of umbraco).
I want the map to be filterable using a number of different properties (from the GeoJSON/Fusion table). I also want to have a custom pop-up for each marker populated with date from the GeoJSON/Fusion.
I have listed GeoJSON and Fusion as the options as these are what I have looked into so far. However, if there is another alternative (free) idea, then I would consider this also.
My HTML/Web dev experience is limited, I can follow the processes and code to an extent, but am unable to work to this level.
I would be happy to discuss further the requirements of this project.
