For example the webpage: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] is a page where individuals and businesses can advertise for goods and services for sale and purchase. On the top of this page (below the advertisement etc) it says the number of hits / advertisements that are active. Per 14/03/15 21:00 it's 51,011 active ads in category "Electronics and appliances. I want a program that monitors, following a chosen interval, for example every 10 seconds and alerting by sound and / or pop-up window. But I only want to be notified when the number of items is rising from the last refresh. Not when ads are removed, but only when new ads are added. Users delete ads as the object being sold, and I do not want unnecessarily many "fake" change alerts. I must be able to choose the site and the value to be monitored. I want a program for windows, and I prefer to use Mozilla firefox as a webbrowser A similar program is Check4Change, which is an addon for Mozilla Firefox.

Hello, My suggestion is to make a program with patterns. I.e. each block has pattern. The search is made using patterns to find the updated areas.
