We need to integrate google maps api into our existing CodeIgniter application. Below is the list of features required - 1. A default city should be visible when the page loads. The city should be passed dynamically. It should also allow passing of any address. 2. User should be able to select the places from the google places dropdown. On selection of a particular place the map must show the selected place and the co-ordinates should be passed on to the backend. 3. The user can move around the map and put the marker in any location. And the co-ordinates along with the address information should be passed on the backend for further processing. All this should happen without any page refreshes. Code should be extremely modular and written in the CodeIgniter coding standards that includes separating the view , controller and model.
