Hi; Inspected your needs. It is achieable in Wordpress, but needs some custom coding. Also, since not a must, I can build a CUSTOM data input form on backend, which looks simple and up to the point - so you do not have to mess with complex looking standard blog post form of WP. Then, for filtering based on criteria like age, species etc, I'll code a custom plugin. I can build a custom CMS from scratch, but this would not be cost effective - will cost you near 4x of this price. I'm an expert PHP programmer with some necessary skills to build complex webapps like MySQL, SQL Server and Sqlite databases with SQL query language; various Linux server administration skills like installing, modifying and optimizing servers like Apache, Nginx, Varnish, PHP accelerators. Since Wordpress is the most populer CMS, I'm thrived in WP. I coded 10s of plugins, which some of them can be downloaded as open source.
