The build of this project breaks down into the following areas, with a fronted plugin/extension required for the following platforms:
WooCommerce.
Magento.
VirtueMart
Zen cart
OS Commerce
In addition to these fronted plugins we will also require an API kit for retailers and developers that wish to link our email verification services to a custom or non-standard retail checkout page.
The plugin, extension or API will then link the retailer to our Admin Control Centre (ACC), this is where the day to day billing, set up and other customer related services will be carried out.
As with all admin interfaces we will need the usual functionality for customers to create an account, create a token key to link to the plugin on their website checkout page, the key features can be summarised as follows:
Register and create an account, card details are required for all users, all users get the first 50 verification credits for free (We will be using the Stripe payment gateway which has a well documented API).
Download a token/API key to activate the plugin on their retail website.
Verification credits will be purchased in credit blocks, 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000, 20,000 and so on. As the user’s site verifies customers email addresses, each verification will cost one credit. The customer will need to be able to view a report page on how many credit they have left and have used, effectively a statement.
The customer will need a billing page, in this page they will be able to update or change their billing details, card details (Using Stripe API) and the block of credits that they buy. As an example if a customer begins using us on a 100 credit block plan but finds they exhaust those credits in less than a day, then they may wish to upgrade to a plan that meets their site checkout volume such as 1,000 email verification credits.
