Build a service that calculates the number of scrabble packs are needed to form certain words. Service has to be scallable to 100K simultaneous users / especially phase 2 must provide a solution that is memory efficient!! Phase 1: Given 3 types of word packs (full alphabet, vowels, consonants) with prices and a list of strings, the service should return the minimum / cheapest number of word packs needed to construct all the strings given (each letter can only be used once per word pack). Phase 2: Given a database of words from the english alphabet and a database of common names the system will also calculate how many words can still be created with the letters left in the packs needed to solve phase 1

Hello, I am an engineer and I can help you. I can even provide you with a prototype for Phase 1 before you decide to hire me. To better help you, I would still need the following informations : - when you say : 3 packs, these packs are the same for every simulation ? - for phase two, about how many words is there in your databases ? - in what format are your two databases ? can we convert them into plain text files ? - what is the target in phase two ? building the more words or using the more letter possibles? or like in scrable writing words to maximize the score ? - what is the acceptable calculation time for Phase 2 ? For performance : since there isn't complex databases, you can easely use load balancing if there are too much requests on one server. Plus those kind of algorithm don't take too much memory.
