# Building a practical database (create a model and tables/insert data)
1. Create a data model on the workbench (more than 6 entities) - Save it into “[login to view URL]” (if team 2, “[login to view URL]”) - Set PK, FK, relationship, filed names, datatypes, etc. 2. Convert the model into the tables (number of tables is same as number of
entities) - Check all of them such as normalization, keys, etc. 3. Insert data into the tables (more than 5 rows for each table) I will check whether you input entire data (if not, you have penalty…)
# Building a database application
1. Make first page “[login to view URL]”
- Connect a project database
- Make the following links: (if you click, the following contents are displayed.)
Show all table names Show all data in a table (select Only one main table) Insert two rows into the table and show the result (all data in
the table) Update a value in the table and show the result Delete two rows in the table and show the result (all data in the
table)
2. Make PHP files called from “[login to view URL]” - When you show the query results, use <tr> </tr>
And make the real tables - Need to make five *.php files (diamond symbols)
