To do this project you need to be proficient in Adobe CS2, you need to understand how to design to a printer's requirements using Pantone Colours etc and generally know what you are doing because you have done similar jobs before. Previous samples of your work in PDF format would be helpful.
For this job I want an 8 page full colour brouchure to advertise various household hardware products such as can be seen in the attached PDF. This brochure must match with the current newspaper advertising and associated website [url removed, login to view] . Common graphic techniques must be used such as see-through areas of objects must be made transparent (such as in the example you can see through the steps of the ladder to the background).
Since you obviously can't be here for face to face meetings you will have to accept a combination of scans with comments hand written on to them with pen, PDFs and JPEGs etc.
The **first deadline is Tuesday 13th March**, for this date I will need a rough draft layout (PDF) using old advertisements to present to the client. (The client has not yet decided the full product list so old photos will be used - I will provide them.) The date for **going to print is 24th March 2007**. Up until then you must be available to make any changes daily so good communication is vital to our success.
All files must be viewable / useable on the PC (no MACs here)
Good Luck! and I look forward to working with you.
