I need a method to change the display settings of a machine to extend the Windows desktop to a second monitor.
The method should have two functions;
1. allow me to extend the Windows desktop over two monitors (if the second monitor is available)
2. switch back to one monitor
The new setting should be effective immediately without rebooting the machine.
The above functions will be used in a current VB6 project, so the provided solution should be compatible with that programming language without installing any extra software or clients.
Please let me know if you can build this and what method you would suggest
