We are an established ecommerce Australian based business requiring an experienced website designer to update our website and add new features. Skills required include ajax, javascript, html, php, mysql and general website design experience. The successful person will need to be in constant contact with my Australian based IT consultant who has created the current website. This freelancer must have good experience in high end design including all the latest website features and systems. The new website design will need to integrate with our current back end which manages all our parts data, invoicing payment system,supplier part order, CRM etc. This customised system we have currently built has a number of necessary custom features. Apart from creating a more modern feel to the overall website the features that we will need that our current website does not have are; 1)Shopping cart and CMS system 2)Account management including database, invoicing, statements etc as we deal with both retail and trade and have payement up front as well as 30 day account customers. Account payments will need to be able to be automatically debited from bank accounts or from stored credit card details. 3)Ebay API 4) Post invoicing email management 5) ongoing email marketing management 6) multiple search paths including PDM and general search box 7) m. site for mobile phones I estimate that this job may take as long as 6 months part time work. The job will need to be planned and the time schedule decided on with the job broken down into parts. We will need to create it all and fully test it before moving from our current platform to the new design. Again this will be done with constant contact with our own IT guy.
