I need an existing or custom sms management program implemented on my shared server for use with sms text in the USA. while there are many such opensource sms programs available, i am not partial to any at the moment.

My needs are to implement a system to send about 5,000 text messages weekly via a web-based gateway. also a way to manage opt-outs is also equally important.

basic feature: the ability for users to text a request to a number (e.g., users may text "buzz word" to 12345 and receive a text in return in which we would autosend a preset sms message). that new number would also then be added to the sms list for future text distributions. another use may be to merely subscribe they type "subscribe" to 12345 and they receive a confirmation sms that they are now subscribed for weekly sms updates.

obviously such buzz words and auto-replies should be configurable via the web.

another feature in the future that may be added is the ability to structure the first 100 text to a given buzz word receive one sms, and after 100 a different autoreply is sent (thereby enabling the ability to host contests). for example, a promotion where the first 100 people to text contest to "12345" win free tickets. anyone texting after 100 get a autoreply stating we're sorry they missed the first 100.

a more complicated yet important feature to be implemented in the future is the ability to create a database from reply texts. for instance for someone to signup for a friday guestlist by texting "friday john doe" to 12345 and "john doe" being added to a online database.

please indicate whether this is something which you have experience in already (if so reference examples), or whether it is something that in which you do not have experience but are confident that you can implement.

thank you.
