We wasted our resources on a programmer that failed us, so we’re on a very tight budget on this one. We’re looking to complete this project under $400, although the lower bids may appeal to us more—so keep this in mind.
We need a clone of Alienware’s purchasing section (starts @ [login to view URL];SubCode=SKU-EXTREME and ends after the customer submits his/her order). We would need strong back-end web administration to add/modify/delete/etc products, its information, & its categories.
Looking at Alienware, you’d also notice that it asks its customers to have an account with them to complete their orders. Afterward, when customers need information about their accounts (e.g. regarding customer information, knowledge base, driver updates, etc), they can simply log into their accounts through a password-protected page. We’d like this type of password-login section & its features to be integrated into our website. Please note that customers aren’t buying the same products, so we would need to provide specific information to individuals buying certain products.
To ease your workload, you can simply use osCommerce ([login to view URL]) as the shopping cart.
Thanks.
