We have a problem. We have a site with many thousands of products, not all of which are sorted into categories well, have good descriptions, or product pictures. There are sites which have all this information sorted well (in product categories), and have better descriptions and images (which are provided by the manufacturer and not copyrighted, same as the descriptions). We are looking to 'learn' from this by comparing our product numbers with another site's product number and automatically updating descriptions, images, and categories in which the product belongs. If you have experience creating bots and spidering sites to aggregate this sort of data, we would like to hear from you. Please provide us with some information to help us gauge your expertise and ideas how to accomplish this.
