Flash Website completion
This is my demo site - [url removed, login to view] This site will sell art prints. I have been working on this site for a while and need help completing it before going live.
I need a number of tasks to be completed on this site. This site is based on a [url removed, login to view] flash component. Slideshowpro has also been integrated.
All flash component files, fla and instruction manuals available.
1. Simple Admin Interface - I would ideally like some sort of admin interface to allow easy addition of new art from artists. The flash pages should be template based to allow easy updating of artist and print information. Please see the "Stainboy" tab for a very rough idea of final format. This does not need to be very complicated as I have an OK working knowledge of flash. The pages can be external movieclips, so maybe this is the easiest way to update artist pages. I would expect 20 - 30 updates per month. An easily updated News page is also required.
2 - Shopping Cart Integration - The site is currently setup to use RomanCart ([url removed, login to view]). The final product should have the shopping cart integrated as fully as possible with the [url removed, login to view] component. The add to basket button should take the user to a new page on the book with basket information. Paypal pro is currently configured.
3 - Email Forms - The final product should have a fully functioning
i) Subscribe email
ii) Contact form (inside a page)
iii) Tell a friend (to email a message and jpg in html format)
4 - Design completion - The present demo requires a number of cleanup and functionality fix tasks. These include...
Should look similar to now.
The listed artists need to be easily updated when a new artist is added.
This should also allow for artists to be switched in position.
The left nav should fade in just after the main book.
The active tab should remain highlighted when clicked.
The highlighted tab should grow to the left to appear as if it is actually on the open page.
When clicked the MORE tab should update the links to additional artists. Additonal nav tabs should include a BACK and MORE tab
The flash movie should be active on page open. The user should not have to click on the movie (swfobject?)
When clicked the preloader should optimise the loading of images in the main book.
The main book should fade in first. The left nav should then fade in.
The thumbnails should operate identical to the thumbnails on [url removed, login to view] (page13 / page14)
When clicked the thumbnail should update the image on the opposite page. The transition should be a fade.
Clicking the thumbnail should update the formatted text information relating to the print as per the "stainboy" tab currently. The transition should be a fade. I have done this with individual frames, however I don't believe that this is the best method.
Standard items on this page include (Edition of; Price; Enlarge; Tell a friend; Add to basket; Artist Bio;)
This button is currently calling lightbox as per the demo site.
I would like to see a sample with thickbox - [url removed, login to view]
Can the updates to the list of jpg be easily modified - maybe php?
Tell a friend
Clicking the "tell a friend" should update the current page (fade transition)
This should send a html mail to the friend with a link to the page in the main book. Maybe check the tell a friend in [url removed, login to view]
When the dynamic text box is clicked it should clear the pre-text. The Go! button should look similar to the left nav fade in effect. When clicked the code should check that the email is valid. If the address is not valid a "please check email address" should appear above the subscribe box
The news page should have article headlines as per the demo. When "more...." is clicked the text should fade to the article. Back should return the user to the headlines.
