Personalized Google Map API

For our website, we want an embed Google Map that showed different points of interest (POI). These POI would have personalized icons. These POI would be assign to categories. There is 2 examples of what we want: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] There would be buttons to show/hide POI on the map based on categories. The POI should be admin by an online admin interface and a database. There will be around 150 POI. The categories must also be manage by the admin interface. We also want to calculate time and distance between 2 POI. We would also like that the road being traced between the 2 POI, like the "Get directions" function in the Google Map website. I don't know what is the best way to do this, suggestions are welcome. We was thinking of links "Starting point" and "Destination point" that would appear in the pop-up bubbles of each POI. This would let us choose the starting point and destination point directly in the map. The results would appear over the map, in a <div>. I have joined a layout to show you how we see this. We are searching for someone that have experience with the Google Map API and PHP/MySQL. Si vous parlez français, c'est encore mieux.
