I need a working example of a JBoss Seam CRUD app that works on Tomcat 5.5 + MySql. If you use seam-gen, you get a WAR file that deploys to JBoss successfully. However, you need to modify configuration files and build script to get it to deploy to Tomcat. I am unable to successfully modify the WAR file to work on Tomcat.
System requirement: * Tomcat 5.5 * 1) Using MySql, create a database called 'tinkerbell' 2) Create a single table called 'book' book ------------ id (int) name (VARCHAR(45)) desc (VARCHAR(255)) 3) Run 'seam setup' to configure your app. 4) Run 'seam generate-entities' to generate the CRUD code. 5) Run 'seam new-project' to create a new Eclipse project. 6) Modify the "[url removed, login to view]" file and other config files so the WAR file will work on Tomcat.
OS: Windows XP Database: MySql 5.2 Server: Tomcat 5.5 JBoss Seam: Version 1.2.0
