I'm starting starting a hybrid niche dating site and need it in Beta mode for 1/1/09, with a launch on 2/2/09. After considerable research, my cost and time solution is to use VLDPersonals software as the jumping off point for a LAMP architecture. It would need code modification as there will be some customization involved. What I need from you: 1. Please break it down into components with projected hours for each element: database, graphic & UI design, configuration of modules, template coding, testing, bug fixing. Include the hourly rate you are using for calculation of costs. 2. Hourly rate for maintenance after launch. 3. Your location in the U.S. If in Los Angeles, we will want to meet with you. 4. Whether you are doing this in-house, or out-sourcing. 5. Number of programmers who will work on this, along with our ability to speak with them directly and see the quality of their code. 6.
